Stag Films
As the communications methods as writing, painting, drawing, printing and the Internet evolved, photographers are changing to ving pictures. They are making sex flicks, known as "stag films".
"Stag" in English, is an adjective, which mean: only for men. "Stag films" appeared very often at "stag parties" - parties for men. Despite media hype about "couples porn", the genre still remains only for alone men.
Almost all pornographic films before the Second World War were shot on 16 mm film, on simple 10-12 min reel. These reels could be hided more easily than multiple metal boxes. The principles of "stag" were stablished in the mid 1920s till 1950s. The quality of these films was far from the quality of today's films: cameras fixed in frames, stagehands visibly adjusting the lights and the actors asking for direction or looking directly into the camera.
